Winter Warmth – Community Singing Evening

Date: Friday, November 28, 2025
Location: Association Premises

Description:
As the days grow shorter and colder, “Winter Warmth” offers a heartwarming gathering for community members to come together and share the joy of singing. This relaxed evening will feature a mix of seasonal songs, old favorites, and uplifting tunes, creating a friendly space for connection and togetherness.

The evening will start at 6:00 PM with a warm welcome and hot beverages. Participants will receive a booklet containing the lyrics of all the songs for the night. At 6:15 PM, the first singing session will begin, led by a dynamic facilitator who will encourage everyone to join in—no matter their vocal ability.

The first half will include familiar songs that are easy to pick up, such as traditional winter folk tunes and popular classics. The goal is to create an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable participating, even if they have never sung in a group before.

After a break at 7:00 PM for warm snacks, the second half will feature more spirited and festive songs, including interactive rounds and call-and-response singing. The facilitator will also introduce simple harmonies for those who wish to try them, adding a rich layer to the sound.

Throughout the evening, moments will be set aside for stories and anecdotes related to the songs, deepening participants’ connection to the music and each other. There will also be a space for anyone who wishes to share a solo or small group performance.

The event will end around 8:30 PM with everyone joining in for one last uplifting song to send participants home with a smile and a warm heart. This free event is open to all ages and requires no prior registration—just bring your voice and a willingness to sing along.
